The Problem
We live in a world with a lot of tabs, and sometimes we just wish the tab titles said something a little more meaningful. This is especially true when we view multiple pages that put their site names first (lookin' at you, BBC) or if we're looking at multiple sites with very similar title beginnings:
What tab holds what page, again?
The Solution
One way around this problem is to use Tab Renamer, which allows you to change the title property of any web page to anything you want. Even if you don't have many characters to work with, changing the title can be immensely useful and add loads of meaning to your tabs:
Ah, there we go!
The Bookmarket
Tab Renamer is a bookmarklet, which means it lives in your bookmarks bar. To use it, simply drag the button below to your bookmarks bar and click it whenever you want to rename a tab. You'll be prompted to rename that tab, and once you press Enter, your life will instantly feel less overwhelming. Try it out on this page!
